Beth J. Jacobson, PT, ATC
Beth Jacobson, the owner of Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center, is a physical therapist and athletic trainer with extensive experience and special training in orthopedics, sports medicine, obstetric physical therapy, fibromyalgia, and chronic pain. She has been a practicing physical therapist for over 40 years. Beth received her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and her physical therapy degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She studied with an osteopathic physician for 25 years, including five years of intensive training, and has taken more than 100 continuing education courses to supplement her knowledge. Beth speaks on health-related topics in the community and on the radio, and has also presented guest lectures at SDSU. Her in-depth understanding of patient care comes from both clinical and personal experience.

Sheri Carrington
Sheri comes to us with over 20 years of experience managing billing operations, resolving claims, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations. Previously the office manager of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center for 15 years, she retired to Connecticut and is now running her own billing service.
Sheri is a veteran, having served in the Army medical corps for 8 years. She then spent 30 years working front and back office in the dental field. Customer service is her passion and she is happy to assist you with any billing issues you may have. Processing insurance and patient payments and maintaining accurate records of transactions is just part of her role with our office and her dedication to our patients.
